Noteworthy milestone for Estimated
This performance of Estimated is noteworthy in that it's the first time Jerry did the soon-to-be-familiar chord-strumming finale to his first guitar solo. Listen starting around the 5:25 mark if you don't know what I'm talking about.

spice from the lands of all gods!
My respect of this show, is compaired to a love for garlic. It may not be a smooth gooie chock-o-bot, like the entire FALL 77 TOUR (MY advice to all chocklait lovers, Listen to it all from Seatle---- Binghmton. "THE ALBIQUERQUE PROJECT"] Egypt, yes Egypt! I love lining up all the tapes* of a tour and play them in siquence, you know, get into the flavour of the tour. Learn how to work your cassette deck's pause button, while "steaming" out of the computer. Yes this show has lots of "sound check" looseness, but the magic of this tour builds durring Estimated,Eyes. As "pause friendly Streamer" you will find many new musical moods, that require more adventure than google-ing the local "candy shoppe" {my first review ]

Upsetting
Two stars for the venue and the Eyes. Otherwise one star. The vocals are barely audible on Jack Straw and improve only slightly afterwards. Competent guitars during Ship of Fools. Lovely, short run-up to Eyes and some inspiration throughout the song.
Bad mix, bad sound and a disjointed performance. What a shame they didn't due the setting justice. Completists only.

Disappointing for '78
Rather disappointing show. Maybe it was the desert heat or something but, although the band are in high spirits, the music suffers. Jerry is all over the place and the recording has little flips and cuts all over. The rest of the band gets bogged down in the jams a lot also. Easy to see why they never released any of the Egypt material for a live album as had been planned. A must-have for the novelty value all the same!
